The chocolate chip cookie here is a 10/10βperfectly soft and gooey! We also tried the specialty drinks: the cherry magic latte and the brown sugar fennel matcha. While the actual flavors didnβt quite match their descriptions, both drinks were still surprisingly good and enjoyable nonetheless.

Absolutely outstanding pastries! This was my second trip and we got the chocolate chip cookie, yuzu blueberry muffin, chili crisp focaccia, and kimchi biscuit. (Muffin not pictured because my husband inhaled it!) Everything is delicious and the staff is very friendly. We went on a weekday afternoon and there were several open tables, but it gets quite crowded on weekends. There are benches out front when the line inside gets long.

Have not stopped thinking about the chili focaccia, actually one of the best pastries Iβve ever had. The salt rolls were another standout. Definitely will be back!

Daeji Dough Company is mind blowing! One of Chicagoβs newer specialty bakeries, this spot serves pastries with a Korean flair, and they are simply unbelievable. There is a good variety to choose from, so I had to get a lot to sample. The workers are all super friendly and helpful as well. They have a small bit of seating, which is nice if you want to sit down and enjoy your pastries right away. Perhaps their most famous creation, the tteokbokki croissant was heavenly. It is a texture dream with the soft, chewy rice cakes and the flaky croissant layers. I was surprised that they did not hold back on the spice in the gochujang glaze. The croissant contained seaweed flakes throughout, which added a nice salty earthiness. Their daeji chocolate chip cookie is one of the best in the city. It had the perfect chewiness with amazingly crispy edges. The texture was impeccable, which provided the basis for the unique flavor. Their cookie implements doenjang, which added so much umami and heartiness; this was balanced by lemon zest, which brightly cut through. It was also filled with the gooiest pools of chocolate. Just insane. You also need to try their miso cornbread cookie. It also had an i

Have been wanting try this cafe for a while and glad I finally did!! I got Kiki Matcha with sesame syrup and then Kimchi Focaccia! Both were really great. The focaccia was fresh and is definitely large enough to share. The matcha was delicious and I will be for sure ordering it again!! Staff were both extremely kind and helpful with suggestions. While I was there I saw staff putting out more fresh made coconut croissants. Thank you :)
